Health Savings Account (HSA)

There are several California carriers that are now offering HSA compatible plans. HSA's are available to individuals and employer groups.  All of these products must meet certain IRS requirements which include high deductible plans with no first dollar-medical coverage.

Signed into law by President Bush on December 8, 2003, Health Savings Accounts are designed to allow consumers to put money away in a special account to save for future medical expenses. The United States Treasury Department has new a downloadable tri-fold that clearly explains HSA's including information on how contributions and withdrawals work.

Please contact our office for more information on how a HSA plan could work for you.
